Scope
Cognitive computing and networking are emerging technologies to teach
computers to think like a human mind, rather than developing an artificial
system and enable sharing science was designed the scarce spectrum resource and
to achieve the much needed spectrum efficiency of future wireless networks. The
Cognitive Computing and Networking Symposium will focus on topics related to
all aspects of cognitive computing and networking. Of special interest are papers
reporting on novel and practical solutions to efficient and effective computer,
cognitive network design, field tests ad measurements, and applications. To
ensure complete coverage of the advances in this broad area for current and
future systems, the Cognitive Computing and Networking Symposium solicits
original contributions in, but not limited to, the following topical areas:
- Artificial intelligence
- Machine learning
- Natural computation
- Pattern recognition
- Neuroscience
- Nonlinear system
- Fuzzy systems and neural networks
- Intelligent perception and understanding
- Cognitive radio and software defined radio
- Analytical models for cognitive networking
- Fundamental limits and performance bounds for cognitive networking
- Spectrum sensing
- Interference modeling and mitigation
- Measurements and models for spectrum whitespace
- Adaptive antennas and cognitive RF front-ends
- MAC and networking protocols for cognitive networks
- Dynamic spectrum access
- Cooperative communications and networking in cognitive networks
- Architectures for cognitive networks
